Science and Technology Dissemination
We, young professionals in the scientific, technological, and health fields, as well as Cameroonian researchers,
have decided to create "Science and Technology Dissemination," abbreviated as STD, an apolitical, secular
association with scientific and educational aims.
Mission Statement
Science and Technology Dissemination aims to promote education in science and technology disciplines, as well as the dissemination of technological products and solutions through the following actions:
1) To encourage young people to become interested in scientific and technological disciplines by organizing exhibitions and discussions during fairs, sports events, and school holidays, with particular attention paid to young girls and rural areas with low technological penetration.
2) Support science and technology clubs in high schools and colleges through donations of educational, scientific, and technological materials. Also, active participation alongside them during science and technology days for better promotion of these disciplines, particularly among young girls.
3) Support university laboratories, students, teachers, and researchers in the promotion and dissemination of the products of their scientific and technological research work;
4) Create platforms for exchange and continuing education, in person or remotely, for all age groups in various fields of science and technology;
5) Promote the use of a scientific approach and new generation technologies in the production, processing, and development of local natural products for uses in agriculture, nutrition, health, and cosmetics;
6) Collaborate with sister associations and establish mutually beneficial partnerships between companies and university laboratories.
